Bible Note: “The 7 Spirits of God”
Scripture: Isaiah 11:2 KJV
vs.11, “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest
upon him, (Jesus) the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of counsel and might,
the spirit of knowledge and of fear of the LORD;”
Commentary:
The “Seven Spirits” represents the sevenfold
ministry of the Spirit as depicted in the Book
of Isaiah “The Spirit of the LORD shall rest
upon him… The reference to the lamb in Revelation 5:6 relates it to the Seven Spirits
which first appear in Revelation 1:4 and are
associated with Jesus who holds them along
with seven stars.
An alternative view is that the seven graces
(Charisma) of Romans 12:6-8 reflects the seven
spirits of God. The Holy Spirit manifests in
humankind through theses graces, reflecting the seven spirits of God. The seven graces are:
1. Insight (prophecy); 2. Helpfulness (service or
ministry); 3. Instruction (teaching); 4. Encouragement; 5. Generosity (giving);
6. Guidance (leadership); and 7. Compassion .
This is recognized as categorical and “the delight in the fear of the Lord” is added;
(Isaiah 11:3, Berean Study Bible).

Bible Note: “God Is Righteous”
Scripture: Genesis 18:23-25 NKJV
vs.23, “And Abraham came near and
said, “Would You also destroy the
righteous with the wicked? “
vs.24, “Suppose there fifty righteous
within the city; would You also destroy
the place and not spare it for the fifty
righteous that were in it?”
vs.25, “For be it from You to do such
a thing as this, to slay the righteous
with the wicked, so that the righteous
should be as the wicked: far be it from
You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth
do right?”
Commentary:
Abraham speaks to God on S***m’s
behalf.
God’s word does us good furnishes us
with matter for prayer and excites us
It.
S***m and Gomorrah turn to ashes,
condemned them and delivered just
Lot from ruin.

Bible Note: Justification
Scripture: Roman 3:24 KJV
vs.24, “Being justified freely by his
grace through the redemption that is
in Christ Jesus.”
Commentary:
Justification originates in grace (Tit. 3:4,5
Rom. 3:24) is through redemptive and
propitiatory work of Christ, who has vindicated the law (Rom. 3:24,25; 5:9)
is by faith, not works (Rom. 3:24-30;
4:5; .5:1; Gal. 2:16; 3:8, 24), and may be
defined as the judicial act of God whereby
He justly declares righteous one who believes on Jesus Christ.
