In the heart of the streets, Christ waits to be encountered.

Through the Street Ministry - Anawim Mission, we go out to meet Him in the poor, the forgotten, and the wounded—offering not only material help, but a presence filled with charity, dignity, and hope.

Come walk with us. Come pray with us. Come serve with us.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 5:3)

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God.” John 14:1

Even in the simplicity of this moment, He reminds us that peace is found in trust.

In the silence of the chapel, before the exposed Blessed Sacrament, time takes on a different meaning. It is here that we learn to remain, to listen, and to love.

As Friars Poor of Jesus Christ, it is part of our spiritual life to dedicate one full hour of Eucharistic adoration each day. From Monday to Thursday, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed from 12:00 to 3:00 PM, and each of us is entrusted with a sacred hour in His presence. On the other days, we continue this encounter quietly, adoring Jesus in the tabernacle.

This daily fidelity is not a duty alone—it is a relationship. In the Eucharist, we do not come simply to pray, but to be with Him who first loved us.

“Could you not watch one hour with me?” (Mt 26:40)

World Day of Prayer for Vocations

April 26, 2026

Prayer Card - Jesus Prayer for Vocations
The purpose of World Day of Prayer for Vocations is to publicly fulfill the Lord’s instruction to, “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest” (Mt 9:38; Lk 10:2). As a climax to a prayer that is continually offered throughout the Church, it affirms the primacy of faith and grace in all that concerns vocations to the priesthood and to the consecrated life. While appreciating all vocations, the Church concentrates its attention this day on vocations to the ordained ministries (priesthood and diaconate), consecrated life in all its forms (male and female religious life, societies of apostolic life, consecrated virginity, secular institutes), and to the missionary life.

Holy Saturday — Tenebrae 🕯️

In the deep silence of this sacred night, the Church enters into the mystery of waiting.
The lights fade, the altar is bare, and all creation seems to hold its breath.

Tenebrae reminds us that even in the darkest hour, God is at work.
Christ rests in the tomb — but Love is not defeated.

We keep watch with a quiet and faithful heart,
knowing that from this silence, Resurrection will break forth.

“Let us wait in hope… for the Light no darkness can overcome.”

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer.”

In this sacred cry, we enter the heart of Christ’s Passion. Tenebrae calls us into the silence, the shadows, the deep sorrow of the night. It is here, in the loneliness and in the weight of our burdens, that He walks with us, showing that even in abandonment, God is near.

“I am a worm, scorned and despised; all who see me mock me.” These words remind us that suffering is never foreign to God; He embraces our fragility, our fear, and our pain. Our prayers, even when trembling and broken, are heard.

“They have pierced my hands and my feet; they divide my garments among them. But you, O Lord, be not far off!” In the darkness of the Cross, hope is born. The One who suffers with us transforms sorrow into love, despair into trust, and silence into sacred prayer.

Let this Tenebrae prayer guide you tonight: to sit in stillness, to bring your grief and fear to Him, and to feel His presence carrying you through the shadowed moments of life. Even in the deepest night, light is not extinguished. ✨🌑

Are you willing to give everything?

“Give yourself wholly to God, and He will give Himself wholly to you.”
— St. Francis of Assisi

The Lord does not ask for a part of your life, but your whole heart.
In giving everything, you lose nothing—because He gives Himself in return.

If you sense even a small call, do not ignore it.
