I look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Baptist Ministers Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California (BMC) for another inspiring and enriching gathering.

Join us for a powerful time of preaching, fellowship, worship, and important information that will be shared by the Conference. This meeting promises to be both spiritually uplifting and informative as we continue to grow together in faith, ministry, and service.

Rev. Dr. Donald R. Robinson, President, BMCLA expresses his thanks to the BMC and Friends for Celebrating his 75th Birthday yesterday.

Dear BMC Members and Friends,

On yesterday, Monday, June 15, the Lord blessed me to celebrate my 75th birthday, a milestone that gives new meaning to the lyrics, “I Woke Up This Morning with My Mind Stayed on Jesus.”

It was a true joy to mark this occasion surrounded by the members and friends of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California (BMC). I was deeply moved by the Holy Spirit that filled the sanctuary of McCoy Memorial Baptist Church and profoundly touched by your tangible expressions of love and appreciation.

Your presence, prayers, and gifts reminded me once again that ministry is a shared walk of faith, fellowship, and purpose. I thank God for each of you and for the sacred bond that binds us together.

In closing, again, Thank You! I humbly solicit your continued prayers as I strive to provide Spirit-filled leadership to the men and women who form the very fabric of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California (BMC).

This is a wonderful opportunity to honor a faithful servant, dedicated leader, and committed man of God as he celebrates 75 years of life, ministry, and service. Dr. Robinson will be honored by your presence and looks forward to sharing this special milestone with his BMC family and friends.

As President of the BMC, I share with you that Reverend Dr. Willie Mack Gray, Pastor of Simi Valley Second Missionary Baptist Church transitioned to be with the Lord on June 4th, 2026–4 days after his 84th birthday.

A great Husband, Daddy, Grandpa, GGPop, Uncle, Pastor and Friend. A was a mighty man of valor, giant in the ministry, man of unwavering faith and a loving, kind, and compassionate Pastor, Leader, and Mentor.

He served as a long times member of the Baptist Minister Conference (BMC). He completed his work here on Earth and is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although his family, church family and clergy across the country is completely heartbroken, we rejoice and take solace in knowing that he lived an upstanding and admirable life that honored God to the fullest in every way possible. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

As you can imagine, the family have received an influx of calls and messages filled with countless questions, most riddled with misinformation. They are asking that you use extreme care and compassion when reaching out to family members.

Please ONLY accept and trust information given by the immediate family. Information regarding arrangements and services will follow in the coming days.

It's been a long journey, but we know he is in Glory with The Father and that he heard “WELL DONE” upon arrival.
