St James provides preparation for Christian Ministry through in-depth Biblical study, critical thinking, and theological and practical training. Our President, Board of Trustees, and Faculty are faithfully committed to the God-breathed inspiration and divine authority of the Bible, the historic creeds, the sacraments (as they were reformed to reflect biblical fidelity), the historic episcopate, th

e Great Commandments, and the Great Commission to foster unity in the Body of Christ and to advance God's Kingdom. We are called St James in honor of the Apostle who wrote the Epistle of James, the first Bishop of the Church at Jerusalem. The Apostle James was the first leader in the Church to take two seemingly opposing factions and converge them in Christ through the application of biblical truth without compromise, for the sake of unity and oneness in Christ (Acts 15:12-29).
