Dear Gnostic Clergy and friends,

I regret to inform you that the Most Rev. +Stephan A. Hoeller, Regionary Bishop of the Ecclesia Gnostica, died early this morning.

Hoeller was ordained to the priesthood in the American Catholic Church in 1958, and consecrated bishop in 1967 by Richard Duc de Palatine, who established the Pre-Nicene Gnostic Catholic Church. After the death of Palatine, Hoeller abbreviated Palatine's church's name to "Ecclesia Gnostica" and held the title of Regionary Bishop. He was a respected gnostic, theosophical, and Jungian scholar.

From the Gospel of Truth of the Jung Codex:

"As we have come to manifestation in the world while we have put on the Christ and we are borne by Him until we sink down. That is our death in this life. We are drawn up to heaven as rays by the sun, with nothing to hinder us. That is the spiritual resurrection which devours the physical and fleshly resurrection."

Our Tau Rosamonde and her beloved David.

Our ecclesiastical family grieves at the sudden recent passing of our sister bishop, Tau Rosamonde (Rosamonde Ikshvàku Miller), of the Gnostic Sanctuary/Church of Gnosis (Ecclesia Gnostica Mysteriorum). ​Our hearts and prayers are with her husband, Fr. David Miller, and extended family, gnostic and otherwise.
We take refuge in her beautiful spirit escaping the torment of this imperfect creation to finally dwell in peace.
A requiem will be held for her on January 2, 2022, at 10:30am, by her consecrator Bishop Stephan Hoeller at the Ecclesia Gnostica, Church of the Holy Sophia, in Hollywood, CA.
