These words suggest probably one of the most divisive and widely debated phrase in all of human history. The Book of Genesis has been through numerous forms of scrutiny and critical scholarship, but it remains as the bedrock of our Christian faith and confessions. Starting this week, Church of Joy EM will embark on a journey through studying this book and the biblical historical foundations of our faith as found in Genesis for our Friday night Bible Study series. We are currently going through a sermon series on the Book of John, and today Pastor Hosea preached on the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-11). Jesus, the Son of God, comes to reveal God's glory by performing the first of his signs at a wedding that points to further glory that will come in the future Wedding. Please join us for worship next week as we will continue on the series through the Book of John and see how Jesus manifests his glory as the Son of God and the Savior of the world!

We had a great discussion today on the inspiration and the inerrancy of Scripture by dissecting the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. We also had a great discussion on the problem of allegorizing and spiritualizing biblical passages without seeking to understand the intention of the author.

Praise The Lord!!! Amazing blessings shared at our monthly street evangelism. Can you believe we had 25 of us go out and share the gospel on the streets today!? Thank you for all your prayers and service for our ministry! Special Thanks to everyone that came out! You did the most courageous thing in the world today!!! Sharing the gospel to a stranger.
