For 75 years, we have served the Newton neighborhood of South Los Angeles. All Peoples was one of the first integrated community centers in the nation, opening its doors in 1942 to all people, regardless of ethnicity or religion--well before the Civil Rights Movement.

Our Executive Director Brandy Muñiz spoke at the CalCAPA Annual Conference in Palm Springs about the power of partnership and collaboration! Brandy joined leaders from Bresee Foundation and El Centro de Ayuda to discuss the FamilySource Center system and its partnership with LA's Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD). This model helps thousands move toward and out of poverty through strong collaboration and shared accountability. County and state agencies are interested in replicating this successful approach—and we're proud to share what makes it work and how it can be adapted elsewhere. Thank you CalCAPA for the platform to advocate for families and effective community partnerships!

Professional Development Spotlight: Our staff participated in a powerful training on belonging in the workplace, led by Diana Cutaia from Coaching Peace and hosted by ACFC and Goodr. Through team-building activities and thoughtful discussion, we explored how All Peoples is a place for everyone—and how we bring that value to life in serving our community.

A highlight: ACFC's Ali Riley joined for a Q&A on resilience, growth, and embracing new chapters. Our Sports Coordinator Monse Cortez also connected with Riley, sharing inspiring stories about our youth athletes' wins on and off the court! AllPeoples
