To honor the saints that have gone on before us is not only an honor but a privilege that is Honorable and rewarding in and of itself.
Yes, they were saints, real saints the kind that did not bend or break easily, always staying the course ready to do God's will. The saints that have gone on before paved the way for us to live a better life today. They moved mountains through the Almighty hand of God in all seasons. only God could have orchestrated this With the help of faithful saints.
God's Kingdom was being fortified with his creation by way of his saints. Hard work was taken off our shoulders by those saints that have gone on before us.
My mother was one of those saints, she helped build communities, through the work of building neighborhoods. She loved being a vital part of the spirit team that helped build America, hoping for a better society. Helping to make a better society by working with young people was one of her goals. she truly loved working with young people.
Knowing her from my infant years into my adulthood was rewarding. she was very Stern and focused as was her mother, my grandmother whom I never knew due to an early death. She was a good woman, she was a mother that loved her children. The pain that was brought to her heart she did not deserve. As her youngest child, I lead out positively only to depart from that structure, causing her sadness that caused her heart to hurt. Because she had put so much into me it hurt her to see me wander and go astray.
I'm a beautiful person today because of her love for me. she did so much for me while I was going through my storm; if it was not for her being a vessel for God to work through her to me, I dread the thought of where I would be today. She sacrificed her life for us, she went without to provide for our well-being. I saw how much she sacrifice for us: unfortunately more so after her passing. Even though I grew up without my father in the home, she provided to the best of her ability to give me what I needed. what she could not give, there were programs within the church and school, where men could step in and assist.
I'm very grateful for this woman who is my mother. I thank the Lord daily for blessing me with a wonderful mom who blessed me with two awesome brothers and a sister to have as part of this life until we are called home as she has been called home by God.
Honor your parents daily, for we are where we are because of their great works.
