Hillside LA exists to experience Christ, restore our communities and advance the Great Commission. How can we know whether a teaching truly comes from God? And how can we avoid judging people based only on appearances?

In John 7:14–24, Jesus teaches that recognizing God’s truth requires a heart willing to obey. He calls us to test every teaching against God’s Word, seek God’s glory rather than our own, and look beyond outward appearances so that we can judge with right judgment.
