On July 14, 2026, our church family at Friendly Will Baptist Church of Los Angeles experienced a heartbreaking loss. An intruder broke into our building and set fire to the church office, causing extensive smoke and water damage throughout the entire space. Our sanctuary and office—the heart of our daily operations—are now uninhabitable. The office, where we coordinated ministries, kept records, planned outreach, and welcomed anyone in need, was completely destroyed. The damage has left us unable to gather, worship, or serve our community as we have for over 70 years.
We are reaching out for help during this difficult time. Donations will go directly toward deep cleaning and sanitizing the building, rebuilding our office from the ground up, and restoring our sanctuary so our congregation can come together again. Friendly Will Baptist Church has always been a place of comfort and support for our members and neighbors, and now we need your support to rebuild and continue our mission.
