Hi Sung Sam friends,

There will be joint outdoor mass at 10AM at the Crescenta Valley Regional Park on Sunday June 5th. Please be advised that there will be NO separate English Mass that day. There will be a potluck and games afterwards. Please wear white for the games.

If you will be there and would like to join the potluck following the mass, please let me know and I will help coordinate what to bring.

Parking is limited, so please come early. If you're able to come help, we are open to volunteers for parking assistance before mass, or clean-up after games. Merriment ends at 4PM.

Lent, Baptism, and Confirmation

Hi Sung Sam Friends,

It's been a while! Today marks the beginning of lent. I pray that you will have a genuine encounter with God during this Lenten season. If you want to mark your calendars, Palm Sunday is April 10th, Easter Sunday is April 17th.

Some announcements:

Ash Wednesday Korean mass: March 2nd, Wednesday 7:30PM

Stations of the Cross, Korean: March 4th, Friday 7:30PM (Every Friday during Lent)

Baptism: March 5th, Saturday 3PM (register by March 4th)

Confirmation class (Korean): April 21th, 22nd 7:30PM, Confirmation rehearsal April 24th, Sunday 5PM, Confirmation mass April 29th, Friday 7PM @ Holy Trinity

Hi Sung Sam friends,

Just a reminder that there is Sunday school for K-12 at 10:15AM this Sunday the 12th. Sunday School will be held on a biweekly basis, except for first communion class, which will be held weekly.

Also we are serving hot dog for lunch this Sunday. If you're able to help between 10 and 10:30AM, please meet at the kitchen. Masks required indoors. Lunch will be served outdoors under the tent.

We will be pausing english adult SFC for the time being, and will let you know when we are ready to resume.

Hi everyone,

Sunday School for K-12 grades at Sung Sam began last Sunday in in-peron format. It will be held on a bi-weekly basis. Classes start at 10:15AM.

Teachers and students are required to wear masks and hand sanitizers will be available.

Next Sunday School lesson is on September 12th after the Labor day holiday. Please register in-person before or after mass if you will send your kid. Registration is $75 per student for the year.

In brief:

* fully vaccinated people may take off their mask indoors
* those who are not vaccinated must keep their masks on indoors
* responses and singing during mass are now permitted
