Can you thank God before the answer comes?
Most of us find it easy to be grateful when life is going well. But what happens when the prayer has not been answered, the situation has not changed, and you are still waiting?
Scripture says:
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
Notice that Paul does not tell us to give thanks only when circumstances are good. He teaches us to give thanks in all circumstances.
Join us for this Life Bible Class as we discover why biblical gratitude does not depend on good news.
We will talk about:
Why gratitude is a posture toward God, not merely a response to good circumstances.
What it really means to give thanks “in all circumstances.”
How gratitude helps us recognize God’s presence in difficult seasons.
Why thanksgiving can begin before the prayer is answered.
How rejoicing, prayer, and gratitude work together in the life of a believer.
Here is the question we will wrestle with:
Can you thank God while you are still waiting?
You may not be able to thank God for everything that has happened, but you can thank Him that He is with you in everything you are facing.
