That question sits quietly in the heart of more believers than we realize.
Tonight at Life Bible Study, we're going deeper into one of the most quoted passages in Scripture — Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you…”
But here's what makes this verse so powerful: God spoke those words to people whose lives were not going according to plan. They were in exile. They were displaced. They were waiting. And yet God told them, “I still have plans for you.”

Tonight we're going to discover why:
God's purpose is not canceled because your present circumstances don't look like His promise.
We'll talk about purpose, waiting, ordinary seasons, difficult seasons, and what it means to remain faithful when you don't understand what God is doing.

Join us for Life Bible Study and come ready to participate in the comments.

Can you thank God before the answer comes?
Most of us find it easy to be grateful when life is going well. But what happens when the prayer has not been answered, the situation has not changed, and you are still waiting?
Scripture says:
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
Notice that Paul does not tell us to give thanks only when circumstances are good. He teaches us to give thanks in all circumstances.
Join us for this Life Bible Class as we discover why biblical gratitude does not depend on good news.
We will talk about:
Why gratitude is a posture toward God, not merely a response to good circumstances.
What it really means to give thanks “in all circumstances.”
How gratitude helps us recognize God’s presence in difficult seasons.
Why thanksgiving can begin before the prayer is answered.
How rejoicing, prayer, and gratitude work together in the life of a believer.
Here is the question we will wrestle with:
Can you thank God while you are still waiting?
You may not be able to thank God for everything that has happened, but you can thank Him that He is with you in everything you are facing.
