What a joy and honor to pray for those in our community who are teachers and who serve in schools, as they begin a new school year. We affirm the call and gifts God has put on their lives, and pray they would be filled with God's love, creativity, strength, and imagination as they nurture all entrusted to their care. And, prayers for all those teachers and school workers beyond our walls, as well! And for the students!🙏✨

Grateful for our faithful Board of Deacons and their annual project creating hygiene bags to be distributed to folks in ...

Grateful for our faithful Board of Deacons and their annual project creating hygiene bags to be distributed to folks in the hospital who don't have the care products they need. They'll be given to patients by Chaplains at LA General Medical Center with the help of the Angel Interfaith Network. A number of folks stayed after church on Sunday to help fill the bags, assembly-line style. We pray that everyone who receives these bags would feel God's love, and the love from our community too! 🙏💖

It's the time again! Reminder to bring in your new receiving blankets and drop them off in the box in the Narthex to go to new parents at LA General Medical Center who need one for their newborn. If you aren't able to shop but still want to support this cause, you can make a donation to our Deacon's fund and let them know you'd like them to use it for receiving blankets.

This is always deeply appreciated by Angel Interfaith who helps with the distribution to the new parents. Thanks for your support! ✨

What a joyful Sunday! We celebrated a baptism and welcomed new members, Okan, Adam, Melinda, and Jeff, into our community here at Covenant. We're so grateful God has called these beloveds to be part of what we're doing together.

Join us in praying for them as they enter this new season. Our community isn't perfect (no community is) but we know God shows up in the gaps, giving us grace to love each other and our neighbors well. Welcome! We're so glad you're here! 💕
