There’s something special about the warmth of our Gilberg Family Religious School—you can feel it the moment you walk in. It’s a place where students are known, families feel at home, and Jewish learning is alive, joyful, and deeply meaningful.

Come experience it for yourself, meet our teachers, and connect with our community. And if you know a family who might be looking for this kind of space, help us spread the word—we’d love to welcome them too!

There’s something different about a home-cooked Shabbat meal.

The pace slows. Phones go down. Conversations linger. Strangers become familiar, and friends become something deeper.

This Friday at TBI, join us for Neighborhood Shabbat—beginning with Tot Shabbat at 5:30pm, followed by a home-cooked community dinner at 6:00pm, and Kabbalat Shabbat services at 7:00pm.

Come for one part or stay for the whole evening. Just come hungry—for food, for connection, for Shabbat.

A full and meaningful week at TBI as we come to the close of Pesach and step back into our regular rhythm together.

Join us Thursday morning for Pesach Day 8 services and Yizkor, and then come back that evening for something special: Torah on Tap — on a Thursday night — as we mark the end of the holiday with Havdalah over our first chametz. It’s one of those small but powerful Jewish moments that becomes something deeper when we do it together.

And then we carry that energy straight into Shabbat, with Kabbalat Shabbat Friday night and Shabbat morning services to follow.

Looking forward to being together for all of it!

Pesach prep = chaos? Not this year!

Join Rabbi Alex at TBI tomorrow night at 7pm for a hands-on mishmar where we’ll make kashering your kitchen actually make sense. We’ll break it down step by step, tackle real-life kitchen scenarios, and focus on what really matters (and what you can stop stressing about), using the Rabbinical Assembly’s updated Pesach Guide.

Whether it’s your first time or you just want a smoother, saner approach, you’ll walk away ready to take on Pesach with confidence!

Truth or kindness? What should we say to a bride on her wedding day?

Tonight at Mishmar we’ll explore one of the Talmud’s most famous ethical debates (Ketubot 16b–17a), where Beit Shammai and Beit Hillel argue over a deceptively simple question that opens into something much bigger: the role of honesty, dignity, and speech in building a community.

Join Rabbi Weisz for an evening of learning, discussion, and good cholent. All texts in English, and everyone is welcome whether you’re a seasoned learner or opening a page of Talmud for the first time.

Come hungry for both Torah and cholent!

One of the quiet engines of Jewish life is the weekday minyan. Ten people gather, prayers are said, Torah is read, and a community holds one another up before the day even begins.

At TBI we are working to build a culture of reliable daily minyan. Whether you’re an experienced davener or completely new to weekday prayer, you are welcome. You don’t need to know the liturgy by heart. Just showing up helps make it possible.

This is especially true on Monday and Thursday mornings, when we traditionally read from the Torah. In order to do that, we need ten people physically present in the room.

If you have flexibility in your schedule, consider joining us in person sometime. Even attending occasionally can make the difference between having a Torah service or not.

Passover is a holiday meant to be lived around a table.

Questions get asked. Stories get told. Songs get sung a little louder as the night goes on.

Join us for TBI’s Annual Community Passover Seder on Thursday, April 2 at 7pm for an evening of great food, lively conversation, and the timeless rituals of the Haggadah. Whether you’re a seder veteran or still learning why we hide the afikoman, there’s a seat for you at the table.
