As part of Jewish American Heritage Month and the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this weekend marks Shabbat 250 — the first nationally designated Shabbat in the United States.

From sundown on Friday, May 15 through nightfall on Saturday, May 16, Jewish Americans — along with friends, families, and communities of every background — are invited to come together in the spirit of Shabbat to celebrate faith, heritage, unity, and the enduring connection between the Jewish people and America.

Jewish communities have been woven into the fabric of our nation since its founding, helping shape the story of America across generations. Shabbat 250 offers a meaningful opportunity to honor that shared history with gratitude, reflection, and togetherness.

We are excited to host a special Shabbat celebration at our Chabad in honor of Shabbat 250. We warmly invite you, your friends, and your family to join us for an inspiring and meaningful experience together as a community!

Ways to Participate in Shabbat 250:
Attend Shabbat services
Share a Shabbat meal with family and friends
Light Shabbat candles before sundown
Unplug by turning off your phone for 25 hours
Take a break from work and daily distractions
Enjoy a peaceful Shabbat walk

The holiday of Shavuot is just three weeks away!

3,338 years ago, the Jewish people stood united at Mount Sinai, receiving the precious gift of the Torah from G-d. Each year, on this joyous holiday, we relive that powerful moment by hearing the Ten Commandments read from the Torah.

Please join us on Friday, May 22 at 10:45 AM as we come together for a meaningful community Shavuot service, followed by a delicious dairy buffet.

Special Children’s Ice Cream Party! 🍦

Let’s celebrate this beautiful and inspiring holiday together!

Dear Friends,

Before the blowing of the Shofar at the conclusion of Yom Kippur, our Rabbi shared the powerful story of the call Bar Kupershtein mother received from Hamas terrorists, and her extraordinary strength and unwavering trust in Hashem.

Baruch Hashem, after 738 days, Bar Kupershtein was released.

We are honored and excited to host Bar on Sunday, May 17, for a special Shacharis Minyan in honor of Rosh Chodesh Sivan, followed by breakfast and an inspiring talk. You will hear firsthand his deeply moving story of faith, resilience, and survival.

Please join us for this meaningful and uplifting morning!

In just two weeks, we’re heading outdoors for one of our favorite nights of the year! Get ready for a fun-filled evening with delicious food, great drinks, and even better company.

We’ll be firing up the grill with all the classics—burgers, hot dogs, chicken—and gathering around the bonfire for s’mores and good vibes. Add in a L’chaim or two and plenty of Lag BaOmer spirit, and you’ve got a night to remember!
