Today we remember Beau Biden (3 February 1969 – 30 May 2015), the devoted American lawyer, soldier, and public servant from Wilmington, Delaware, whose integrity and compassion defined his life. As Attorney General of Delaware and a decorated Army Major who served in Iraq, he championed justice, protected the vulnerable, and led with quiet courage.
Beau passed away at 46 after a brave battle with glioblastoma, leaving behind a legacy of selfless service, family devotion, and unwavering principle. His life continues to inspire those who believe in the power of duty, love, and leading by example.
