Your emotions are data. Pay attention to them but don’t let them have the final word.

Anger, fear, sadness, and joy can help us recognize what’s happening in our hearts. Bring those feelings honestly to the Lord:

“God, this is what I’m feeling. What’s underneath it? Help me see this through Your Word and respond in a way that honors You.”

Being shaped by God’s Word means learning to bring our whole selves before Him, including our emotions. We can feel deeply and still choose to trust and obey.

What emotion do you need to bring to the Lord today? 🙏

Spiritual maturity isn’t growing in our knowledge, It’s submitting to depend on Him more.

As we continue Shaped by the Word, we’re asking God to teach us His ways, correct our steps, and shape how we live. We don’t just want to know the Word. We want to follow the One who gave it to us.

What’s one area of your life where you need to depend on God today?

SHAPE was a day to pause, listen, and remember who we’re called to be in Jesus.

Parents, students, and church leaders came together to worship, learn, ask honest questions, and think about what following Jesus looks like at home, at school, and beyond Sunday.

Thank you to every speaker, volunteer, and family who showed up. Our prayer is that what God began in those conversations keeps taking shape in our everyday lives.

Called by the gospel. Formed by God. Sent on mission.

We’re grateful for the men who came out to breakfast and spent time together in God’s Word. We talked about the power of prayer and were reminded that we can bring our needs, our families, and one another before God.

Let’s keep praying for each other throughout the week. 🙏
