He is Risen. Part 2.

“But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you." So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me."” Matthew‬ ‭28:5-10‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

Our God is not dead. He is ALIVE! Today is Resurrection Sunday! May God our Father and Christ our Lord and Savior be glorified. Father, thank you for giving your Son. I for one am grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. Where would we be without Him? I don’t want to know. As we approach Sunday, remember that He is risen. He is alive! The Purging Process is Brutal but Necessary. Have you considered that what you are going through isn’t a result of the enemy, but it is God? God desires to use you, but there are some things that are required of you. You cannot bring the ‘old you’ into God’s territory. You have to Level Up. That is why it is painful. That is why it hurts. That is why you are uncomfortable. God is purging you, and it doesn’t feel good, but it is for your good. After all is said and done, you will come out with the victory and you won’t even remember the pain. You’ll walk boldly in whom God called you to be.

So before you become angry at God, consider that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Consider that there is a reason for your suffering. God loves you too much to leave you there. So just trust Him.

“He is Risen”, Part 1

“Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a c**t with her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord needs them,' and he will send them at once." This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying, "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a c**t, the foal of a beast of burden.'"

The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. They brought the donkey and the c**t and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them. Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?" And the crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."” Matthew‬ ‭21:1-11‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

As we enter into Holy Week, let us remember the sacrifice that Jesus would make on the cross. “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Prepare your hearts and minds to celebrate the risen King. Happy Palm Sunday🤗.
