🩵Jesus (peace be upon him) is a Prophet and Messenger of Allah ❤️
He was born miraculously and called people to worship Allah alone ☝️
Islam teaches us to love and respect him by following his teachings, not by celebrating the holidays of disbelievers ❌
🩵Why don’t Muslims celebrate Christmas ⁉️
Christmas is linked to the belief that Jesus is the Son of God → this contradicts Tawhid (the Oneness of Allah).
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them” → Muslims do not imitate the religious celebrations of non-Muslims.
Christmas has roots in pagan festivals, and celebrating it goes against the Sunnah. ❌
🩵Do not participate in the celebrations or rituals.❌
Use it as an opportunity to teach others about Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) according to Islam:
“In Islam, we respect Jesus as a Prophet and Messenger of Allah, and he called people to worship Allah alone.”☝️
🩵It is permissible to accept a gift from non-Muslims in order to soften their hearts toward Islam, as long as it does not involve imitation or is connected to their religious festival.
It is not permissible to give a gift to non-Muslims on the day of their festival. ❌
🩵Whoever remains steadfast upon the Oneness of Allah ☝️ and avoids imitation, the angels descend upon them and give them glad tidings of Paradise [Qur’an 41:30].
“Indeed, those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them, saying: ‘Do not fear, nor grieve, but rejoice in the Paradise that you were promised.’”
🩵Muslim Celebrations According to the Sunnah:
Eid al-Fitr 🎁: Celebrated after completing the fast of Ramadan, with prayer and gratitude to Allah.
Eid al-Adha 🐑: Commemorates the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), with prayer and the lawful sacrifice.
These celebrations are established by the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and combine worship with family and community joy.
🩵💡 Advice:
Study the Qur’an and authentic Hadith to understand Islamic belief correctly.
Avoid imitation and hold firmly to the Sunnah.
Be keen to keep righteous company.
📌 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“A person follows the religion of his close friend, so let one of you look at whom he takes as a close friend.”
📌 And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“I have left among you two matters; you will never go astray as long as you hold firmly to them: the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet.”
