We may or may not have loitered outside choir rehearsal. We regret nothing. 🎶

We put it right out front. Because we mean it. 💜Sundays 8am & 10am (in person and livestream)

The Mar Vista Neighborhood Association (MVNA) was delighted to welcome David Godshall, co-founder of Terremoto,a landscape architecture design studio, for an inspiring and thought-provoking presentation on sustainable gardens. His insights on creating beautiful, climate-conscious landscapes motivated attendees to rethink how our outdoor spaces can support both community and environmental resilience. He is a rock star in the industry and we are grateful to you for sharing your creativity, expertise, and vision with us. To learn more about Terremoto’s philosophy and approach, we invite you to watch this engaging discussion from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where David and Jenny Jones explore the practice of social relations and justice through radical gardens of love and interconnectedness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8vFHq0az80

On May 17 St. Bede's celebrated the retirement of Bob Williams, Canon for Common Life, and gave thanks for his decades of faithful service to Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. Bob has blessed this diocese in countless ways through his work as archivist, journalist, historian, colleague, and friend. His wisdom, storytelling, steady presence, and deep love for the Church have helped preserve our history while strengthening our community for generations. While we will miss him in his diocesan role, we are grateful that this is not truly goodbye. We’ll still be seeing Bob around campus as he continues his important work as President & CEO of Neighborhood Youth Association located on campus. Thank you, Bob, for all you have given to this diocese and to so many of us personally. May this next chapter be filled with joy, blessings, and continued inspiration.
