WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AS A CHRISTIAN OR FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST!!!
If anyone repented, decided to follow JESUS and accept HIM as his/her LORD and SAVIOUR with faith, it is a great privilege to that person, for such has acknowledged who can save his/her life from perdition, for that is the will of GOD for everybody in the world to be saved and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, to fulfill HIS sayings in: (John 6:39, Matt 18:14, John 3:16-18)
YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS ALSO!!!
But if you be a follower of JESUS CHRIST, don't expect the world to love you, care for you or hail you, because since you have decided to follow JESUS CHRIST in Truth, you are no more of the world, but of JESUS CHRIST, the Word of GOD had said it:
John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 17:14
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
John 17:16
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
And GOD also commanded you
1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
JESUS CHRIST makes you and I to understand in this place, since you are no more of the world, but if we abide in CHRIST, decided to follow JESUS till the end, the world will hate you because of that, they will abuse you, they will say all manner of evil against you, they will do you evil, they will lie against you.
And all these things we do hear in the news, how Christians are being maltreated in some countries around the world, for CHRIST sake, by terrorists, jihadists, slaughtering some, shooting some or even burn some, just because they hate JESUS CHRIST ( John 7:7).
And in that process, even the principalities and the kingdom of darkness, even the devil, shall fight against you with spiritual powers, they can attack your business, raise demons against you, do many things against you, just to take you back or kill you.
Just because you have decided to follow JESUS the True SAVIOUR, the Word of GOD had said it:
Luke 21:17
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
Matthew 24:9
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.”

But when all this things shall be happening to you, as a Christian or a follower of JESUS CHRIST, don't be afraid nor be disappointed when you face persecution for CHRIST'S name's sake, neither because of that feel offended or because of that go back from CHRIST or deny HIS Name, for that is the worst part of it, and GOD has spoken concerning such:
Mark 8:35
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Because GOD has already told us:
Matthew 5:10
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
And GOD said:
Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of Life.
GOD has made known to us these things already, not to scare us, but to let us know what is going to happen, so that when it shall begin, it won't surprise you or scare you, but indeed, not all saints are going to be killed for CHRIST'S sake, but the world will surely hate them for CHRIST'S sake.
That is why GOD said:
“These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.”
— John 16:1 (KJV)
For indeed, it is not an easy road, but what you have to do is to commit your way unto the LORD, pray to HIM to uphold you and your faith till the end.
Because it is only those who shall abide in CHRIST and endure till the end that shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt, 24:13).
