Have you noticed the coin inside this skull’s eye?
At first, it looks like nothing more than an old skull wearing a crown. But there may be a much darker story behind this image.
In some ancient cultures, coins were placed over the eyes of the dead. One belief was that the coin would serve as payment for the journey into the afterlife.
But then there’s the crown…
Crowns weren’t simply decorations. They were symbols of power, status, and authority—often worn by kings and rulers.
So why would someone be buried with both a crown and a coin placed over their eye?
Who was this person?
And what was so important about them that their final resting place still leaves us with questions centuries later?
Maybe the real mystery isn’t the skull…
Maybe it’s the person who once wore that crown.
