☀️🌊 WHAT A WAY TO KICK OFF THE SUMMER 🌊☀️
Bryant Temple AME Los Angeles YPD showed OUT at Seaside Lagoon this weekend and honestly… this was bigger than just a beach day ❤️
Kids from multiple churches and communities came together for a day full of:
🎉 games
🌊 water fun
😂 laughs
🍔 amazing food
🙏 fellowship
🎁 prizes
📸 memories we’ll never forget
From Aquarium of the Pacific tickets to museum passes, Chick-fil-A gift cards, Lucille’s BBQ prizes, and even an AMAZING banana pudding pound cake from our very own baking company The Singing Whisk… the love was felt all day long.
We were blessed to have our Pastor come out, fellowship with the families, and support the youth, along with several AME churches joining together to show what real connection and community still looks like.
And after all the fun, Rev. Aja brought a word that reminded everybody that our young people need spaces where they feel seen, loved, connected, and inspired.
This is what YPD is about.
Not just events.
Not just church.
But building friendships, leadership, confidence, faith, and community for the next generation.
And trust us… this is ONLY the beginning 👀
