May 31st will be the celebration of Rev. Tina and our Shared Ministry. The celebration will follow the Sunday service. A picnic theme will include hotdogs, bratwurst, ribs, and vegetable kabobs. If you are able to bring a grill for cooking food, please let the Hospitality Team know as soon as possible.

We are asking the congregation to provide side dishes, vegetable trays, and fruit trays. Cake will be ordered from Chocolate Maven. Cash donations towards food and cake will be much appreciated, but not required.

HELP NEEDED PROVIDING MEALS FOR ESPANOLA PATHWAYS SHELTER

The Espanola Pathways Shelter is undergoing a large kitchen renovation this summer and has limited ability to prepare meals. They are asking for increased support in providing hot, ready to serve meals thought out the summer.

Started by the Social Justice Committee over 5 years ago, we have a small dedicated group of church members who help provide meals to the Shelter periodically led by Margie Stockton. With this request for increased frequency we need more help. We are proposing to provide meals once a week, for Monday dinners throughout the summer. A proposed menu is sent out via email and people sign up to provide something on the list.

We need more cooks and delivery drivers thought out the summer. If you are interested in joining this dedicated group please contact the church office at 505-662-2346 to be added to the email list.

Many hands make light work.
