Large Group starts at 7pm. Small Groups at 8pm

You are not who you used to be.
In Christ, your past no longer defines you, your mistakes no longer condemn you, and your failures no longer have the final word. When you give your life to Jesus, He doesn’t just improve you — He makes you new.

Being a new creation means:
• walking in grace instead of guilt
• choosing purpose over fear
• living with freedom instead of shame
• trusting God’s truth over your old identity

God is still transforming you day by day. Don’t go back to the version of yourself that Jesus already redeemed.
You are forgiven.
You are renewed.
You are chosen.
You are a new creation in Christ.

Prayer 🙏🏼 isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being honest. In recovery, prayer has become less about memorized words and more about connection. Some days it’s gratitude. Some days it’s asking for strength. Some days it’s simply, “Help me get through today.”

Prayer gives us a pause between impulse and action. It reminds us we don’t have to carry everything alone. Step by step, it helps us surrender fear, resentment, shame, and control. Recovery works best when we start the day asking for guidance and end it with gratitude.

One day at a time.

Last Friday, we discussed Lesson 8 — Moral. Really, the word “moral” simply means to be honest! We learned that we need to list, or inventory, all the significant events—good and bad—in our lives. We need to be as honest as we can be to allow God to show us our part in each event and how that affected us and others.

Join us next Friday at 7 pm as we continue our journey to health, recovery, and freedom.

Last Friday we discussed Lesson 7- Sponsor.

Having a sponsor or accountability partner isn’t about weakness, it’s about growth. Real accountability is uncomfortable sometimes. A good sponsor/partner doesn’t just celebrate your wins—they walk with you through the hard days, the doubts, and the moments you want to quit. Progress thrives in honesty. And honesty is easier when you’re not doing it alone.

Find your person. Be that person for someone else. 🤝
