Ever been doing something good and wondered why everything seemed to be going wrong?

Pastor Mix shares a funny but meaningful story about breaking down far from home, only to experience God’s provision through the kindness of complete strangers.

Sometimes you don’t know how God will take care of you until you’re right in the middle of it. 🙏

Being a pastor’s kid means never knowing when you’re about to become the next sermon illustration. 😂🙈

Some family stories are supposed to STAY in the family, Pastor Mix! 🤣

Anyone else grow up wondering if Sunday’s sermon was going to be about them? 👀😂

**Are you truly worshiping God, or simply going through the motions?**

In the third message of our series, **“When God's People Need a Spiritual Wake-Up Call,”** Pastor John Mix continues through Malachi with **“When Worship Becomes Contempt.”**

God's people were still bringing offerings and participating in worship, but their hearts had grown careless. What was meant to honor God had become routine, wearisome, and disconnected from genuine devotion.

This message challenges us to examine not only what we offer God, but also our attitudes, motives, and the example we're setting for others.

📖 **Scripture:** Malachi 1:7–14 (KJV)

**Don't just go through the motions. Worship God with a heart that recognizes His worth.**

A little girl started choking, her parents were desperate, and everyone was panicking.

Pastor Mix stood up and said, “Everybody, let’s pray!”

What happened next became a testimony he hasn’t forgotten. And the unexpected first-class upgrade afterward? Just wait for the ending! ✈️🙏

You never know when you’ll have an opportunity to put your faith into action.
