We are casual, laid-back, and far from perfect. We meet Sundays at 9 am and 11 am. Every service is identical. We offer classes for preschool-aged children (age 2 - 5) up to 5th grade during service times, as well as care for babies, newborn up to 2 years of age. Our Youth Group the TAKEOVER

There's usually one thing we would have a hard time letting go of. A habit, a paycheck, a title, or a dream we have quietly built our life around.

In Sunday's message, we were reminded that Jesus is not after our stuff. He is after our full allegiance, the number one spot in our hearts.

This week, take an honest look at what holds that spot. Pay attention to what you reach for when life feels shaky, and ask whether God has all of you or only part.

We would love for you to join us tonight at 7pm to view a pre-recorded discussion on the weekly Bible Reading Plan. A small group will share thoughts and insights on the reading and discuss their takeaways. The last part of the hour together will be spent praying and reflecting.

What a morning. Clear skies, a full auditorium, and a fitting close to Kick Your Buts. A wealthy young leader ran to Jesus with the right question and asked the right person, then walked away sad when Jesus told him to sell everything and follow. His possessions hadn't just been his; they owned him. The "but" we cling to can quietly become what we trust instead of God.

We also kicked off Walk for Water (https://nhc.click/w4w), June 14th right after church.

This week, name your "but," then take one honest step toward loosening your grip and walking with us for clean water.

Sometimes the issue is not belief but surrender. We say we trust God, yet we keep certain things in our own hands. We follow Jesus with limits and obey only to a point. This message uncovers the quiet resistance that keeps us stuck and invites us to release the habits, comforts, identities, and securities we hold onto most tightly. Real freedom begins when we stop negotiating and open our hands to God.

You probably know the one already. The thing you'd hand God almost anything before you'd hand Him that. Maybe it's a habit you've quietly made peace with, a relationship, a plan for your life, or a sense of control you're not ready to loosen.

Most of us don't struggle to believe God. We struggle to open our hands. This morning we're looking at what keeps us holding on so tightly, and what we might be missing because we won't let go.

See you at 9 or 11 in person, or online at https://nhc.click/live.

He had done everything right. Kept the commandments since he was a kid, came to Jesus sincere and eager, knelt down in the road and asked the big question. Then Jesus named the one thing he was still holding onto, and he walked away sad.

Most of us don't struggle to believe God. We struggle to let go. There's usually something we keep in our own hands, a habit, a comfort, an identity, or a security we'd rather not surrender. Tomorrowwe're asking what happens when we finally open our grip.

See you at 9 or 11 in person, or online at https://nhc.click/live.
