In this week’s Scripture Series, Fr. Stephen reflects on Jesus’ model for handling conflict: go to the person directly, approach the situation with humility, and seek reconciliation. Drawing on the Franciscan tradition and the example of St. Francis of Assisi, he challenges us to ask: Am I seeking to resolve conflict, or am I simply complaining about it? Are we willing to compromise and work toward loving relationships with others?

This week, let’s pray for the grace and strength to seek reconciliation where possible, and when difficult conversations aren’t possible, to bring those situations to the Lord and ask for the grace of reconciliation.

We thank Father Jason Wooleyhan, TOR, and Father Canice, for celebrating our First Friday Mass today. It is remarkable to see so many students make the effort to come well before school starts to begin their day with Jesus! Follow Father Jason's advice - spend time with Jesus!

Tomorrow we bless our student athletes as we begin our Fall season! Come join us at the Mass!

What does it really mean to follow Christ?

In this week’s Scripture Series, Fr. Stephen reflects on Jesus’ challenging call to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. Following Christ isn’t always easy; it means setting aside our own desires and trusting in God’s plan, even when the path is difficult.

Jesus reminds us that gaining the whole world means nothing if we lose sight of our relationship with God. May we have the courage to take up our crosses each day and faithfully follow Christ wherever He leads.
