Come and see Mrs. Lechak in Godspell within the next two weeks! (May 28- June 5). Godspell is a joyful and uplifting musical inspired by the teachings of Jesus, primarily drawn from the Gospel of Matthew. A group of diverse individuals comes together and learns lessons about kindness, forgiveness, and love through a series of parables, songs, and playful storytelling. As their bonds grow stronger, they experience both the lighthearted and more profound moments of faith and friendship, ultimately reminding audiences of the power of compassion and the importance of caring for one another.

Our 7th grade students had a fantastic day learning and exploring while breaking geodes! Students were excited to discover the beautiful crystals hidden inside and learn more about geology and earth science through this hands-on activity. It was a fun and educational day filled with curiosity, teamwork, and amazing discoveries!

Our 4th and 5th grade students had an amazing “Field Day” filled with sunshine, laughter, and nonstop fun! Students enjoyed kickball, parachute games, and water balloons while making wonderful memories together.

We also took time to visit and thank our goat friends with Shea! The goats and chickens help consume our lunch waste, and together we have measured an incredible 24,506 pounds of food waste recycled through this program!

To top off the day, students painted name stakes for our beautiful “Pollinator Garden” with Autumn. It was a busy, sunny, and fun-filled day for everyone!

Another amazing year for our Food Waste Program!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has helped make this program such a success. Since we started, together we have kept an incredible 24,506 pounds of food waste out of the landfill!

We wrapped up the year with a fun surprise visit from The Goats — the perfect way to celebrate all the hard work and positive impact our community continues to make.

Here’s to another year of reducing waste, supporting sustainability, and making a difference together!
