See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams are in the wasteland. ~ Isaiah 43:19

Have you ever stared at your phone’s memories feature and felt a pang in your chest? That photo from three years ago popped up. Before everything changed. Before life took that sharp turn you never saw coming.

We all have these wilderness seasons. The job loss that left us stranded, the relationship that crumbled, the diagnosis that changed everything. The moments where we look around and wonder, “How did I end up here?” but here is what changes everything: the wilderness is not just empty space.

Moses spent forty years in desert obscurity before the burning bush. Joseph had a prison cell before a palace. David had caves before a throne. What looked like wasteland was actually where God was preparing something new. The wilderness may not be the problem. Sometimes it is our perception that needs to change.

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. ~ Psalm 34:14

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Peace. We talk about it, we long for it, but to be honest, some days it feels like a whisper we cannot quite hear over the noise of life. Our minds race, relationships get messy and worries keep us up at night. But do not simply wish for peace, actively pursue it. Like a treasure we cannot afford to lose.

Peace is not just a feeling; it is a choice. A daily decision to walk away from the bitterness and step into God’s presence. It is choosing player over panic, grace over grudges and trust over control.

Peace is not found in perfect circumstances, it is found in a Person. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is the One who quiets our storms and settles our anxious hearts. When we chase after Him, we discover that peace is not something we have to manufacture, it is something He freely gives.

📖Our Daily Bread🙏

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ~ John 1:1

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

With these simple yet profound words, John takes us beyond time itself, before creation, before the first sunrise, before history even had a name. and what do we find? Jesus was already there. Genesis tells us that God spoke the world into existence, but John reveals the Speaker. The Word is not just what God say, it is who He is. Jesus is the full expression of the Father, the voice of eternity stepping into time.

In an act of unimaginable love, the eternal Word entered His own creation. The One who spoke galaxies into motion wrapped Himself in flesh. The voice that thundered in creation whispered peace to the broken. The hand that shaped the universe would one day bear the nails of our redemption.

Our life is was not accidental. Before our fears had names, He was already the answer. And even now, the Word still speaks, calling us by name, inviting us into a love that has no end.

Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. ~ Ecclesiastes 5:2

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

In a world that often celebrates quick wit and clever comebacks, our verse today offers a counter -cultural invitation: to approach God with reverence, to speak with intention, and to listen with humility.

When we come before God, we are stepping into the presence of the Almighty, the One who dwells in heavenly places. In light of His majesty, our posture should be one of awe and reverence, not hasty speech or impulsive promises.

Approach God with a heart that is quick to listen, slow to speak, and eager to honor Him in all we say and o. remember that in the presence of the King of Kings, our words matter, but our hearts matter even more.

Imagine sitting in the upper room, hearing these words from Jesus’ own lips. On the eve of His greatest trial, knowing the anguish that awaits, He speaks of joy. Not fleeting happiness, but a profound, unshakeable joy that He wants to share with us.

This joy is not just a feeling; it is a Person. It is Jesus Himself, dwelling in us through His Spirit. It is the joy that fueled His obedience to the Father, that sustained Him through betrayal and death, that burst forth in resurrection power.

in a world desperate for lasting happiness, we carry within us the answer. Today, in your victories and failures, you laughter and tears, will you embrace the complete joy Jesus offers? It is not just for perfect day, but for this day, for you, exactly as you are.
