The Goodwill Cemetery Board would like to honor Kenneth Woods, our Cemetery Board President for many years who passed away in May of 2025. Kenny worked hard to ensure that the cemetery was kept in a serene, neat condition and that each family who had loved ones interred there was given the attention and care they deserved at their time of loss. Kenny was a detailed kind of leader who was the source for any information needed by the community. The Board would like to express our love and appreciation to Jean Woods for granting us so much of Kenny's time to support the Cemetery and pray for her peace and encouragement as she navigates her life without Kenny.
The 2026 season will soon get underway at the cemetery for cleanup, trimming, new flag placements and ground maintenance.
We will be having the Community High School group donate a day in May to help with old flower pick up and new US flag placement at veteran’s graves. It is wonderful to have them give their time.
This year we would like to start an email list for whomever would like to received updates and information on the Cemetery. If you would like to be added to this group, please contact us through goodwillcemetery.com. Also, did you know that we have a page, it is Goodwill Cemetery. Like us on the page and you will receive updates.
