We are so thankful to be able to host our camp at Spring Lake!
As we gear up for summer camp, I want to take a moment to say thank you for partnering with us throughout 2025. Because of your generosity, prayers, and faithful support, Spring Lake Camp & Retreat was able to host 42 groups last year — including 7 weeks of summer camp. This ministry simply would not be possible without the support of associations, churches, individual donors, and volunteers like you.
Throughout every camp season, my prayer is the same: that every person who steps onto our grounds encounters Jesus — whether through surrendering their life to Him, strengthening their faith, or laying their burdens at His feet. I never want anyone to leave camp without experiencing the presence of the Lord.
This year, God showed up in a powerful way.
In 2025, our camp hosted 5,470 guests, with 2,970 of those attending during our 7 weeks of summer camp. Here is the eternal fruit we witnessed:
274 salvations — young people surrendering their lives to Jesus
771 rededications — students recommitting their lives to the Lord
27 calls into ministry — young men and women who heard God say, “Go,” and responded, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”
These are not just numbers. Every one represents a story, a family, and a soul that heaven is rejoicing over.
In addition to this spiritual growth, we’ve also seen the camp grow. This past year, we successfully launched a new vision for our summer staff program, completed the girls’ intern house, and repainted the motels.
Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be a season of continued growth. We currently have only two spots left in our summer staff program and recently hosted our first-ever summer staff retreat, which allowed us to pour into returning staffers while welcoming those joining us this summer.
Several building projects are on the horizon, including replacing the showers in the motel rooms and improving the bathrooms in Moore Dorm. In addition, we will be launching a fundraising campaign for a much-needed safe room. If you’ve been at camp during the summer, you know how important this addition is for the safety of our guests and staff.
This project will take time, prayer, and full trust in the Lord. We are applying for a grant that would cover most of the cost, leaving the camp responsible for approximately $500,000. We have also been blessed by a generous donor who believes in this vision and has committed to matching the first $100,000 in donations.
Would you please pray about how you might support this vision above and beyond your current giving? Your ongoing support allows us to continue operations during the off-season, and we are prayerfully asking partners to consider an additional gift toward this important project. If you’re unable to give financially, we would be deeply grateful for your prayers — that God would bring the right people alongside us to help make this vision a reality.
I would love to visit with you personally to share more about this project if you’re interested.
Thank you again for your continued support of this ministry. We are so grateful to walk this journey with you.
