Concord UMC would like to sincerely thank Ozark Mission Project for sending some crews out to help us move our food pantry to a new location today.

The building it was in was very dilapidated and having a lot of issues. We decided to move it into our Family Life Center and OMP showed up in full force to help us clean out both the old building, as well as the new room. They moved all of the shelving and food helped re-assemble our new food pantry operations room. They even helped trim some hedges around our property while they were there! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

These young men and women give up precious time during their summer breaks from school to come volunteer in communities around Arkansas doing work for “neighbors” in need of a helping hand. They spend their weeks doing things like accessibility projects and minor repairs, including wheelchair ramps, porch repairs, and handrail construction. Projects also include beautification work such as painting and yard work. 🛠️🪚🔨🪛

What a remarkable way for these young people to demonstrate being the hands and feet of Christ. ✝️✝️ We certainly appreciate them offering to come assist with our food pantry project. Unfortunately only about half the people are pictured as one of the two teams got pulled a little early to go help with another project. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 But sure appreciate each and every one of them!
