This Memorial Day weekend we quietly pause to remember those who gave their lives that we might be free. We recall their sacrifice and pray that God will bestow His blessings on the families of the fallen, and gift our nation with His comfort and peace.

Both civic and spiritual freedom come at a high cost. While we honor those who fought for our nation’s liberty, we also remember that our eternal freedom was secured by Christ. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free” (Galatians 5:1).

Thank you to JJ DePriest for placing flags around our property to honor this day of remembrance. The last picture is of the 264 names of veterans and service members buried at Concord Cemetery. May the sacrifice of these women and men never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
