Sunday morning is getting closer. It would be great to have you and any family you have, to worship with us at the Palm Street church of Christ. We meet for Bible study at 9:30 and for worship at 10:30. Tomorrow’s sermon will come from Daniel 2 where we are told of Nebuchadnezzar had an amazing dream that Daniel interpreted for him. It was about the kingdoms coming after his and God’s setting up His kingdom that would never end. We are blessed in being able to be a part of Gods kingdom today. It can never be shaken. Come, bring your Bible and study with us.

Have you ever taken a close look at the Book of Habakkuk? It’s an amazing book. Just 3 chapters and the whole book is a record of 3 prayers the prophet prayed with two answers from God. It demonstrates how much a person can change their whole attitude towards life when they listen to God and trust Him. Tomorrow the sermon will come from this book. Come and share the study with us.

It is often said that Easter Sundays are the best attended Sunday of the year. I am thrilled when people come to church. We never know how that one time might change a person’s whole life. It might be that day will be the day that they really listen and learn about Jesus and the price he paid for our sins on the cross. That invitation to someone you know to come to worship with you Sunday might change everything in a positive way. Let’s try it. Okay.

This Sunday night, March 29th , at 5:30 we are hosting a very special event. It’s called YOU TOO CAN OVERCOME. It will be led by Efrem Jones, minister of the Brown Street congregation, and his brothers and sisters as they talk about what they went through growing up and how they overcame. They will give lessons from their experiences for us to learn and use in overcoming trials and challenges in our lives. I hope you can come and share with us the special event.

It seems unreal that Linda and I have been here for 4 years already. It’s a blessing to be your minister and I am looking forward to year 5. Let’s see what the Good Lord brings us this year.

It would be a great blessing for you and your family to join us at the Palm Street church in Lonoke tomorrow. Our Bible study begins at 9:30 and we will be studying from Hebrews 6. Our worship begins at 10:30. The sermon is from Mark 2:23-3:7 on the theme “The Sabbath was made for Man.” Come, worship with us.

Every time I read the Book of Daniel, I'm amazed at a ton of things, but one of the things that stand out is in Daniel 5, when Belshazzar, the son of Nebuchadnezzar, is the king.
