- The church today must navigate through numerous perilous currents! The politics and culture of many nations is no longer functioning from a moral or righteous Christian foundation –which holds people to what is good, honorable, and true - and helps stabilize society.

Too many people are submitting to the narratives of cultural Marxism, gender fluidity, and various other godless and Antichrist systems! The fruit of these Great Lies and clever deceptions is a flood of evil behavior, too often leading to horrific death.

So, you say, how do you claim to know what’s true? What’s better for society?

The easiest way is to see the fruit- is the behavior and words they use - good?

Does it produce life, joy, peace, stability, kindness - consistently?

Or does it produce fear, hatred, death, anxiety, confusion - consistently?

I think we see the fruit of fear and hatred going on more than the fruit of righteousness peace and joy- which comes from believing and doing what God’s word says.

Jesus says, Satan is the father of lies … he always hates the truth because there is no truth in him - (John 8:44). Lies and deception is natural for Satan. He lives to counterfeit everything about God. Satan hates God. Satan hates God’s people.

The opposite of lies is truth – Which God promises, for He cannot Lie!

“So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.” (Heb.6:18)

Trust God.

Reject the lies.

Grow strong in The Word and secure a stable foundation - which others may take strength from to overcome the perilous currents in today’s culture.

I Peter 1:5-7

Serve God Willingly

5 Therefore, I strongly urge the elders among you [pastors, spiritual leaders of the church], as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory that is to be revealed: 2 shepherd and guide and protect the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not [motivated] for shameful gain, but with wholehearted enthusiasm; 3 not lording it over those assigned to your care [do not be arrogant or overbearing], but be examples [of Christian living] to the flock [set a pattern of integrity for your congregation]. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd (Christ) appears, you will receive the [conqueror’s] unfading crown of glory. 5 Likewise, you younger men [of lesser rank and experience], be subject to your elders [seek their counsel]; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another [tie on the servant’s apron], for God is opposed to the proud [the disdainful, the presumptuous, and He defeats them], but He gives grace to the humble.

- The First Blessing!
After God created man and woman then God blessed them (Gen. 1.28) and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

He blessed them to be stewards over all the ecosystems, not people and nations.
-
This blessing was to stand by God’s grace and purpose throughout the history of mankind, especially to those who love God obey, and are called according to His purposes (Eph.1:3-14) – those who identify as born again, water baptized, sons of God - the family of God, the body of Christ!

Some Christians extrapolate the blessing of Gen.1:28, to mean something very different than ecosystems. They believe we the church should have dominion over people within the seven mountains, and nations.

But God didn’t bless man and woman to have dominion over people! -Only over ecosystems!

Let Jesus lift you up!!

When we let Jesus lift us up our purpose and call is more powerful and full of grace and love. Don’t allow your gifts and talent to determine your worth but your ability to love God with all your heart with a fully surrendered life to Him. Then we will be able to love our neighbors as ourselves Mark 12:31. There is no greater love then these!! Trust me, these two things will keep us working on yourselves until Jesus call us home😊. Enjoy your Sunday!

Philippians 2:3 AMP

3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves.

Romans 12:3 AMP

3 For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service].
