Last service tomorrow @ 10 am
Immanuel, God with Us
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).” Matthew 1:23
Reflection:
The name Immanuel, meaning "God with us," beautifully captures the essence of Christmas. Jesus' birth signifies that God chose to dwell among us, bringing His divine presence into our everyday lives. This profound truth reminds us that we are never alone; God is always with us, guiding, comforting, and loving us. As we celebrate this season, let’s reflect on the incredible reality that God is with us, in every moment and every circumstance.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to be Immanuel, God with us. Help us to feel Your presence in our lives and to trust in Your constant companionship. May we share the joy of Your presence with others this Christmas. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

During this Christmas season, Matthew 1:23 reminds us, "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us"). This powerful promise assures us that God is not distant or detached, but right here with us, especially in our hardest moments. Whether we face grief, struggle, or sadness, the birth of Jesus is a reminder that God understands our pain and walks alongside us. In the midst of holiday pressures or personal challenges, we can find comfort in knowing that Immanuel is ever present, offering peace and hope in all of our circumstances. This Christmas, let the truth of God’s presence bring you strength and reassurance no matter what you are going through.

The busyness and rush of the season can leave little room to focus on the real reason for Christmas. The most important things: Jesus, love, faith, family…they get left behind in the pursuit of gifts and get-togethers, church events and work parties, shopping and cooking.
This year, let us keep our eyes on the ONE we are celebrating; JESUS!! Let us “make room” for Him.
“Whatever you do this Christmas, do all to the glory of Jesus.”
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of Your Son this Christmas. Lord, help us to remember Jesus at Christmas time and keep Christ at the center of our lives. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Your son, coming as a baby in a manger to save His people. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Please join us, this Sunday December 7th, for a time to honor those among us. A time to recognize and present a small token of appreciation to Reimage family members who have given of their time and talents over the past year to serve God and bless His Church.
We hope you will join us for worship at 10am followed by this opportunity to apply Paul's admonition in Romans 12:10 to, "Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other."

Check out these dates for our last 2 One Pursuit youth group meetings.

As we enter December, let’s hold tightly to the hope we have in Christ. In a world that can feel uncertain, His birth reminds us that God’s promises are true and His light shines in the darkness. This season, let’s encourage one another to trust in His faithfulness and share that hope with our church family and beyond.

Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Let this hope guide us through the season, uplifting our hearts and inspiring us to be a beacon of hope to others.
