Are you wondering.....are all the SLC Temple Tour tickets really gone? Did I miss out? 🧐 Here is the scoop on what happened and what is coming next! WOWZERS 1 million tickets sold in 24 hours!!

1 million reservations were claimed in 24 hours for the Salt Lake Temple open house tour. Additional ticket releases are coming for the "Rejoice in Christ" celebration running April 5–October 1, 2027.

TEMPLE TUESDAY | September 1, 2026

The exterior stone mock-up on the northwest corner of the Vancouver Washington Temple is nearing completion as crews finish grouting the stone before it is reviewed by the architect. Crews are also installing stone on the southwest corner, where it is visible from SE 20th Street.

All of the windows are now installed, including the large celestial and sealing room windows, as well as the steeple windows. The windows on the north and south ends are scheduled for water testing this week.

Inside, work on the interior walls continues on the third floor, while the north end of the first floor is almost ready for sheetrock. In the baptistry, watertightness testing of the font is complete and the water has been drained. Ceiling framing is now in progress.

For the first time in more than 130 years, the Salt Lake will be open to the public. Get your free tickets beginning Sep 1 for the Open House at templesquare.org and on the mobile app.

The Salt Lake will run from Apr 5 to Oct 1, 2027, and includes several new exhibits, performances, special activities, and new films.
