Window testing is underway at the Vancouver Washington Temple, where crews are simulating rainfall at a rate of eight inches per hour while applying negative pressure inside the building to ensure the watertight performance of each window installation.

Further exterior work continues on the north and south ends of the temple. Brackets for the stone mounting system are being installed on the northwest corner as crews prepare for the first stone installation. Steel framing on the south side is beginning to outline the temple's future front entrance. Roofing on the west side of the temple is nearing completion, joining levels four and five, where roofing is already complete.

At the maintenance building, crews have installed the roof deck and are applying a protective roof coating. On the west side of the property, landscape grading continues, preparing the area for topsoil, irrigation, and future landscaping.

TEMPLE TUESDAY | June 2, 2026

This week, crews are working on the exterior stone mock-up on the northwest corner of the Vancouver Washington Temple. Scaffolding is in place, and crews are setting the brackets and first stones for review before stonework continues across the temple.

Inside the temple, crews are preparing the second floor for the next phase of construction by applying a leveling layer before Dusty, the layout robot, maps wall locations and crews begin interior framing and flooring. Roofing work on level three is nearing completion now that the temple's air handling units have been installed, allowing crews to close the remaining roof section. Roofing on levels four and five is already completed.

On the west side of the temple, landscape grading is underway as crews prepare the area for future landscaping.
