Jericho Road Ministries/Discipleship Africa

Jericho Road Ministries/Discipleship Africa Jericho Road Ministries is committed to meeting the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of the people throughout South Central Africa.
(1)

Our purpose is to spark, then fan into flame, the saving and maturing process of Biblical discipleship in South Central Africa. Mature disciples serve as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. To God's glory, thousands of children now have hope for today through the provision of a hot meal, hope for a better tomorrow through an education, and hope of eternal life in heaven through the teaching of the gospel! Help us create and equip disciples to bring hope to their communities!

The Texas Zambia team is about to land at DFW in two hours. I'm reflecting on the highlights of our week, and while there's much to share, it's evident that God was at the helm of our journey. Our time was marked by genuine worship, impactful conversations, and tangible expressions of kindness. Your support through prayer and giving enabled our mission, and we're thankful. Our meetings with Zambians provided clarity on the fall mission trip, and we'll be sharing more details in the coming days. Will you consider participating?

What a great last day!!! 68 Emmaus curriculum graduates were honored for their accomplishments by receiving diplomas and then clothes were distributed to the children of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church made by the Dorcas Ladies group of Pathway Church in Longview.

At the graduation, each of us on the Texas team was invited to speak to the graduates and we enjoyed photo ops with many of the them after the festivities.

This has been a very productive week. Thank the Lord for all His provisions. And thank you Facebook family for praying and your generous support. We leave in the morning to return Monday afternoon.

For the last two days the Emmaus Road Trusts of Zambia and Malawi met for their annual meeting. It was wonderful! This group of pastors and church leaders are gifted, Godly people. We strategized for 2026 and beyond, identified strengths and weaknesses of the ministry and opportunities to seize. Brother Mweyama led the entire meeting with direction and passion.

As our team plans to return to Longview Monday, we again ask for your prayers of safety and that ERT of Zambia and Malawi continue in their passion to reach people for Christ and disciple them to grow in the fullness of God.

Yesterday we began strategizing on future growth through some new software that will help us keep our curriculum inventory continuously up to date. It’ll be amazing. We also talked about upcoming important dates.

The second picture is our curriculum container in Lusaka located at Galilea Baptist Church. While we were there today, we organized the storage of curriculum and took test booklets and stuffed one on each book. We accomplished that stuffing process on 4,000 booklets.

Facebook family. Thank you again for your continued prayers. Our services were wonderful and Abusa (Pastor) Jones did a fantastic job making our team feel welcome.

Brother Michael gave his first sermon (ever) today and for the interpreter it was his first time as well. Together they gave a power message today from Romans 1:8-17.

Eddie shared from the pulpit as well as Brother Mweyama.

I got to share from the pulpit and I taught the young adult Sunday School class.

It was a great day! As always, Zambians know how to worship! The music was amazing.

Tomorrow, we begin our Emmaus Road Trust meeting. Please pray that everything goes well.

Pray for us JRM family! Eddie, me and Michael are headed to the Zambian annual National Leadership meeting. We are about to board our flight to Doha, Qatar to take our 30 hour flights to get there. This meeting is an opportunity for Zambian pastors and other leaders to come together to pray, strategize, and seek clarity as we focus on the future. Please lift all of the participants and our JRM team to the Lord. We will return 2/16.

Hey Facebook family. Brother Eddie Napps, Michael Herrington, JRM board treasurer and myself are heading to Zambia tomorrow. Please pray for our trip, Feb 5-16. The reason for it is to meet with our brothers and sisters who help us with the Emmaus curriculum all across Zambia. We will be strategizing and planning for the future in a effort to shore up our curriculum inventory procedures and being sure we have people who can be in place to respond to someone who desires being disciples no matter where they live in Zambia. This will require a lot of planning and accountability.

When you are praying for the Texas trio, please lift up Bishop Mweyama Mulengwani, the Zambian National Coordinator as he implements much of this work.

We have big plans that God has given us and we need your help to accomplish it! Blessings to each of you!
