What if the Bible isn’t confusing…
What if it’s just been misunderstood?
What if every page—from the beginning—has been pointing to Jesus?

On January 4, we’re launching a new series at Rivertown Church:
“Jesus: The One Story God Has Been Telling.”

This series is for:
• lifelong Christians
• people who feel weary or discouraged
• those new to faith
• and anyone quietly asking, “Is there really a bigger story here?”

We believe the Bible isn’t a collection of random stories—it’s one unfolding story that leads us to Jesus.

📅 Starts January 4, 2026

🌍 NEW SERIES COMING THIS NOVEMBER: “Unseen—but Not Alone” 🌍

Every Sunday in November, Rivertown Church will join millions of believers around the world for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church—and spend the entire month learning, praying, and standing with our brothers and sisters who suffer for the name of Jesus.

For most of us, it’s easy to worship freely, to carry a Bible, to speak His name without fear. But for millions around the world, following Jesus comes at a cost. This November, we’ll open our eyes and hearts to their stories—and discover how their faith can strengthen ours.

Each week we’ll explore:
1️⃣ Who Are Our Hidden Family?
2️⃣ When Faith Costs Everything
3️⃣ The Gospel That Cannot Be Contained
4️⃣ Stand Up & Stand With

Join us Sundays at Rivertown Church as we learn from the courage of the persecuted church, pray for those who suffer, and rediscover what it means to follow Christ—no matter the cost.

🗓 Series begins Sunday, November 2
📍 Rivertown Church – 1400 Commerce Ave. Longview, WA. 2nd Floor of Core Health Ascent.

Every church, every town, and every family has its share of differences.

Political, cultural, personal — we see it everywhere.

But what happens when Jesus calls people from opposite sides to sit at the same table?

This week, we’re looking at one of the most unlikely disciples — Simon the Zealot, a man once consumed by political anger, and how Jesus transformed him from a rebel with a cause into a reconciler with a cross.

If Jesus can unite a Zealot and a tax collector…
He can still bring peace to a divided world — starting in us.

Join us this Sunday at 10am at Rivertown Church as we discover how Jesus changes our loyalties, redeems our passion, and turns our differences into discipleship.

➡️ Come early for coffee and conversation.
➡️ Stay for community and worship.
➡️ Leave with peace that only Jesus can give.

🔥 finishing the final touches on this Sunday’s slides for our series CALLED: Ordinary People. Extraordinary Savior.

I’ve been reminded again that Jesus doesn’t choose the polished or the perfect—He calls ordinary people like you and me, then does extraordinary things through our faithfulness.

If you’ve ever felt overlooked, unseen, or “the less,” this series is for you.

Join us this Sunday at Rivertown Church as we dive into the next message in our Called series and discover how God uses everyday people to change the world.
