THE FOLLOWING LETTER WAS RECEIVED
BY CARLISLE BAPTIST CHURCH
FROM An OCC SHOEBOX RECIPIENT:
Dear Pastor/Church Leader,
Carlisle Baptist Church
Warm greetings to you and the entire congregation of the
Carlisle Baptist Church in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ:
We are writing to sincerely express our heartfelt appreciation
for the love, kindness and generosity your church showed
through the Operation Christmas Child outreach program.
Indeed God used the gifts to reach many children for Christ.
Our son, Simeon Issachar, who is just over two years old, was
privileged to receive one of the gift boxes your church
lovingly prepared and sent to children here in Jos, Plateau
State, Nigeria. We are truly grateful for the thought and effort
that went into putting the box together.
Simeon was incredibly excited and happy when he opened his
gift. The toys and other materials brought such a beautiful
smile to his face, and it was a joy for us as parents to see his
excitement. What may seem like a simple gift to some has
brought genuine happiness to our little son and has
communicated to him, even at such a young age, that people
far away care about him. Through the outreach program he is
able to demonstrate what sin is.
Thank you for taking the time and making the sacrifice to
prepare these gifts. Your generosity has traveled across the
continents and touched the life of a child for Christ in Jos,
Nigeria. We deeply appreciate every individual who
contributed to making this possible.
May God richly bless Pastor, the leadership, members,
families, and everyone at Carlisle Baptist Church for your
love and commitment to blessing children through Operation
Christmas Child.
Please accept our sincere gratitude. Thank you for putting a
smile on Simeon’s face and helping to hear the gospel
message through the gift box and for allowing your kindness
to become a beautiful memory in his childhood. May God
bless you and supply all your needs according to His riches in
glory.
With heartfelt appreciation and prayers,
Mr. & Mrs. Achegbani Amstrong Issachar
