We will be diligent, work extremely hard and put in the time necessary to complete the fundamental elements of our services, but not at the expense of our

e we fully understand perfection is out of the question, we will still strive as a church to display integrity in every area. We want transparency in our personal lives, and in the daily operations of the church. Generosity- We will be a giving church. Giving to the vision, the community and other worthy causes. Proverbs 21:26- There are those who covet greedily all the day long; But the righteous give and don't withhold. Relational Evangelism- It has been my experience that most people who genuinely respond to the Gospel do so through a close, personal relationship with a follower of Christ. The culture we live in doesn't seem to respond to the church
and evangelism the way that it did 20 years ago. Excellence- If you are going to do it, do it right. Everything we do as a church should be done well. After all, we represent the greatest focal point of the greatest message of all time. Services, facility, ministries, etc. Relevance- Our services/ experiences will remain relevant to the audience that we are trying to influence to live their lives in Christ. Although our goal is ultimately to create mature followers, we won't do so at the expense of those far from
God. Acts 15:19- It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.

Our September Volunteers of the Month are the amazing Mr. Donny & Mrs. Debbie Pickard! They’ve been serving faithfully at Motion Church for a few years, and we are so thankful for the joy and kindness they bring every time they’re here. From their hugs to their genuine hearts for serving others, they truly make Motion a better place! 🙌

What do you love about Motion Church:
Sweet people like Kaylee McAlister, and others too. We enjoy praise and worship and Pastor Chris delivering the Living Word.

What led you to start volunteering?:
Janie Pepper, a precious long time friend of ours who was a first impression volunteer. I had mentioned to her that I wouldn’t mind working the donut bar. Not too much longer after that there was a ladies gathering at Kristin Ishihara house and Janie let Kristin know what I had mentioned to her and Kristin she said to me “Ok, you’re in!" We’ve been involved ever since on the 1st Sunday of the month for around 3 1/2 years now.

Give us a fun fact about you two:
We enjoy fishing, being outdoors and being retired and not having to get up early to go to work!!

"It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of people and have that inward faith expressed outwardly."

Eight people found that courage Sunday morning.

A mom who told us she wanted to be an example for her kids - and her kids were in the room watching her do it. A student. A best friend. A man baptized by someone who'd been married all of two weeks. Different ages, different stories, same confession: Jesus Christ is Lord.

And when they came up out of that water, this church went absolutely crazy for them. That's how it should be. You don't have to know someone's name to celebrate the best decision of their life.

Whatever's been holding you back from going public with your faith - the nerves, the timing, the feeling that you're not ready - none of it disqualifies you. Take the step.
