The Children’s Ministry at Longview FUMC partners with families to help children discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus. We nurture children so that they know the love of Jesus Christ, follow Him, and share His love with others. We are so thankful for the amazing leaders who helped each child feel encouraged, confident, and excited about a new school year.
We were reminded that God can erase our fears and is with us every step of the way!
We also celebrated with our Blessing of the Backpacks!
Praying our children know they are loved, supported, and never walk into a new school year alone—God goes with them!

Beautiful inside and out—that's how God created each one of us.
Our Girls’ Spa Day was filled with laughter, sweet friendships, lunch, special activities, and so many wonderful people who helped make the day unforgettable. Most importantly, we celebrated that every girl is uniquely loved and wonderfully made by God.
When asked what words God would use to describe them, the girls shared: unique, talented, kind, loving, caring, joyous, and optimistic.
We pray each girl left today knowing that true beauty begins in the heart and that she is deeply loved, wonderfully made, and incredibly special to God. What a blessing it was to share this day together!
