Longmont Church of Christ The Longmont Church of Christ is a loving non-denominational community of faith in Longmont, Colorado. This is the church that we seek to be.

Children, teens, singles, couples, young families and retired people call this congregation family. Our congregation is a multi-generational community, with young married couples and young families. Our older and long time members provide great leadership and mentoring for these younger generations, while the young keep the church vibrant and relevant. As might be expected in a large congregation,

there is a diversity of people, with all types of different backgrounds, professions, and stages in life. In many ways, the church reflects the community of Longmont; however, we seek to reach out to all peoples. The apostle Paul wrote these words about the church: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Gal. 3:28). A church where there is neither black nor white, CEO nor service worker, male nor female. A people where all are equally in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ, and all are equally forgiven. The Ladies Ministry invites all ladies to an evening retreat, ‘Joy through the Storm’, on Friday, September 11, 5:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Our guest speaker will be Kim Solis, a longtime missionary in Mexico. Baked Potato Bar dinner is $20 per person, and childcare is $15/child (includes dinner).

We invite everyone to join us for a Football Season Kickoff Fellowship Meal on Sunday, August 30, following our worship service. The Fellowship committee will be providing Pulled Pork Sliders/Tacos and Loaded Baked Potato Casserole. Please bring a dish to share! Suggestions for other tailgate foods to go along with our meal: Hot Wings, Quesadillas, BBQ Meatballs, Little Smokies, Mac & Cheese, Pasta Salad, Fruit, Veggies, Chips & Queso/Dips, and Desserts. Food will be served indoors. Seating will be available in the Fellowship Hall and on the Playground Patio. Make plans to join us!

God is bigger than your storm.

Isaiah 43:1-2--Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; the flames will not consume you.

God does not promise no storms in life. He promises to be with you through the storms, and you will endure.

Join us on Saturday, August 22 from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. (1351 Collyer St., Longmont) for Artful Expressions— ‘Rough Drafts.’ Anyone can participate! Attend a demonstration or class and enjoy art by your LCOC family.

Breakout sessions:
-Creative Writing
-Painting
-Stop Motion Animation
-Song Writing

And for anyone who needs a gentle break, there will be a room with session about seeing God through art.

The whole family is welcome, but there will not be childcare provided.
