2 Corinthians 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading, hearing and doing of his word.

Prayer changes things! We serve a mighty God, that sits high and looks low. Let us continue to pray Saint's collectively about this government shut down.

If it wasn't for the Lord on our side where would we be? Brother's and sister's in Christ let's pray harder at 8:00 pm.

Today's scripture comes from the book of Proverbs 25:28 and it reads as follows:

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading, hearing and doing of his word.

It is such a blessing that God allowed us to wake up on this 3rd day of the new year to continue in Discipleship. We must not forget to keep close rule over our own spirit as we go forward on our Christian journey. As we are fishermen of man, let's also work on our own intimate relationship with God. Let's start this morning off by collectively praying at 8:00 am.
