Well folks it’s a new year!🥳
So I ask you, In 2023….
-Who will you be?
-What will your attitude be?
-What can we improve on spiritually this new year?

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

* Jesus showed us how important baptism was when he was baptised himself, as an example - though he knew no sin. He did it by full immersion.

Acts 2:38-39
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

* The Bible evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, a direct language to speak to God.

Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

1 Corinthians 14:2
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

30 years ago, I came to the Lord with my mum, after my nanna had just passed away in the Lord and I had told her I would get baptized. I did that very day and received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I instantly felt a peace and my life had changed at that point. My mum soon tragically passed away and my heart was completely broken, but the Lord was always by my side and has healed my heart, as well as provided everything I needed and blessed me with a beautiful family. He has given me such an-amazing experience that proves he is still working today, I am truly grateful for all he has done and continues to do in my life.

We hold true to the Bible teachings and the foundation of the church can be found in the book of Acts where the outpouring of God's Spirit began the true Pentecost movement.
