Universal Mind Spiritual Center & Church Universal Mind Science Church was founded in 1968 by the late Damien Simpson. We are the oldest Metaphysical Church in Long Beach.

Universal Mind Spiritual Center & Church is a non-denominational metaphysical fellowship committed to supporting our individual and collective spiritual growth, and being a safe and welcoming space for the community. Metaphysics teaches us to be open minded by combining religion and science and gives us the insight to the question "Why do we exist"? We gain knowledge and enlightenment through positive teachings derived from the philosophies of all the greatest spiritual teachers. We are a non-denominational organization that follows the universal laws of life that stresses the freedom of personal responsibility. We believe that life is eternal and this gives our lives meaning. We practice tolerance and love to all of God's creation. We find healing of body, mind and soul in these practices. UMS has many fellowship functions where fun and long-lasting friendships are celebrated. Our Church doors are open to all who seek.

This is just a reminder that we have affordable classes every 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Saturday. Discover or develop Intuition, Reiki, Shamanic Medicine, and Creative Expression. Every 4th Saturday is our Intuitive Arts Fair & SoundBath, featuring many talented practitioners. We also have Sunday Services every 1st and 3rd Sunday from 11-12, which are really just facilitated conversations on various topics. Most services are followed by some sort of fellowship. Support your spiritual growth, and connect with community. UMSCC is the oldest metaphysical spiritual center in Long Beach. Come join us!

Please join us every 4th Saturday for a beautiful soundbath experience, performed by Carrie Higgins and her son, Graham. A love offering of $10-20 is appreciated, but not required. Attendees are requested to arrive early, as the doors are closed during the event. The soundbath is part of the monthly 4th Saturday Intuitive Arts Fair, which starts at 10:30 and runs til 2 PM.
