We had a fun time at Side by Side Respite today. After cards and conversations, we enjoyed visiting with Piper, the St. Berdoodle Therapy dog. Next we played a VERY competitive game of guess that TV phrase!! It got a little rowdy! We shared lunch with the OAKS and it was delicious! After lunch we played Match game using pics of US. We had lots of laughs! We colored some cards to send to family and friends, and then settled in for music and a devotion.

Our theme today at Side by Side Respite was the KenDUCKy Derby. We had a fun time doing our usual cards and conversations, and exercise and dance! We visited with Willow, pet therapy in training dog. We played some competitive ducky games before making a duck craft. We ate lunch and then had more duck games and activities. We closed the day with music and a devotion.

Whew! This is a hard one to describe!! The pictures and videos will tell the story, but I’ll try to explain the day the circus came to Side by Side! 🍿🎪🙊 First we started with cards and conversations and visiting with Daisy and Willow, pet therapy dogs. We did exercise and dance right along with clowns and unicorns visiting and dancing with us! We played circus games, enjoyed cotton candy, played circus bingo and had lunch together. We made a clown craft out of a picture of ourselves. We had a devotion and music time, and maybe a little confetti! Why not? Watch for all the videos later!
