Kidfit singing to us!

We cruised in to side by side today. After cards and conversation and visits with Piper, we spent some time outside with a Cruisin car parade, the kids from Kidfit came and sang for us and visited with us, and we had a car race! We also had “dirty sodas”, which were a real treat! Next was lunch of ham and carrots. Then we played a car match game and, of course, ended with music with Mandy. It was another great day! Our theme today at Side by Side Respite was hummingbirds. After cards and conversations and enjoying the hummingbird decorations, we visited with Piper, the St Berdoodle therapy dog. We did some exercise and stretching before beginning an art project of painting hummingbirds using a stencil on a canvas. Great work everyone!! We enjoyed lunch with the OAKS and then completed our art. We played a “bird” match game before ending our day with a devotion and music. ( remember next week we will not meet on Sept 30th due to Rummage Sale prep) . See you in 2 weeks to celebrate Cruisin the coast!!

Music time- AMAZING Grace

Our theme today was “shark day”. We decorated and wore shark accessories. We did our usual cards and conversations while visiting with Willow, the pet therapy dog. We exercised and played competitive games. We had a great lunch before working on a craft and seeing some cool shells and a “mermaid’s purse”. We ended the day with great music and a devotion.

We celebrated Labor Day today at Side by Side Respite. We played cards and had conversations before moving to exercise and dance and trying out some exercise bands. We had a fun game of charades that were “work” related and then were treated to some piano music and some Labor Day bingo. After lunch we had trivia and read some postcards. We ended our day with music and a devotion.

We had a fun day at Side by Side Respite today. After cards and conversations, we visited with Piper, the St. Berdoodle Therapy dog. We exercised and danced and then worked on some art projects before lunch. We enjoyed pizza , salad and ice cream sandwiches for lunch . After lunch was beach ball volleyball followed by a devotion and music!! Fun was had by all!!
