We had a fun day at Side by Side Respite today. After cards and conversations, we visited with Piper, the St. Berdoodle Therapy dog. We exercised and danced and then worked on some art projects before lunch. We enjoyed pizza , salad and ice cream sandwiches for lunch . After lunch was beach ball volleyball followed by a devotion and music!! Fun was had by all!!

Fun day at Side by Side Respite where we remembered Dolly at exercise time! 🦋 We also had our usual cards and conversations and visiting with Piper, the St Berdoodle Therapy dog. We played a few games of co****le before sharing a delicious lunch with the O.A.K.S. After lunch we formed teams and competed in the “Name that commercial jingle”. Proud to say Team Kickin’ It took the win!! 🏆 We ended the day with music and a devotion.

We had a great day at Side by Side Respite today with our theme “Honey Bees”. We even got Bee names. After we played cards and had conversations, we had a visit from both Piper and Willow, the therapy dogs. We exercised to some Bee themed music and then had a couple of special visitors, Bumble Bee and the bee keeper. BUmble bee had fun dancing with our friends. We enjoyed some “Bee jokes”, and heard a story about Honey bees and Bumble bees. We had a delicious lunch, played Bee wheel of fortune, team trivia, and ended our day with a devotion and music! Today was so much fun at Side by Side Respite. After cards and conversations and visiting with Piper, the St Berdoodle Therapy dog, we exercised and danced. Next, one of our favs, was drumming!! 🥁 . We had a few laughs with potato jokes before playing a few match games. Next we enjoyed a potato bar for lunch. After lunch we did monster truck painting. ( I think it was everyone’s first time and was so creative.) afterwards, we heard about Ben’s trip to experience NASCAR “stuff”. We were treated to some pretty cool slides so we could feel like we experienced it! We ended our day with music!

The crew at Side by Side Respite Ministry enjoyed another fun day! We started with cards, conversations and visiting with Piper, the St Berdoodle Therapy dog. Next up was exercise and dance. Our next activities included coloring and make some birthday cards. We had a nice lunch and then went back to our room to play a very engaging game of Jeopardy! We all did very well with the competition. We ended our day with music and a devotion.

Our theme today at Side by Side Respite was Christmas in July! We enjoyed our decorations and activities! We visited with Piper, the St Berdoodle therapy dog. We played cards, exercised, threw snowballs at the “reindeer” and had a unique Christmas story read by Marie. We had a great lunch, followed by a wheel of fortune game and Christmas song trivia. We ended the day with a devotion and Christmas music. Everyone had a great time!
