Romans 7:7-12 The law as given by God was never wrong or sinful, but holy. However, by the law, sin was able to work and by it came death. It was not the intent of the law to introduce sin or give it the power of death - but by the occasion of the law, sin became known and therefore judged. Hence law became the convictor, accusing of sin and exposing mankind to the measure of hoilness that could never be attained without the power of the Holy Spirirt.
