This Memorial Day, we pause not only to remember the brave men and women who laid down their lives for our freedom, but also to reflect on the greater love that inspires such sacrifice.

Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13)

As we honor our fallen heroes, may we also lift our hearts in gratitude to God for the gift of freedom, the courage of those who served, and the hope of eternal life through Christ.
