WHAT DOES ONE NATION MEAN?
“ONE” - Represents the fact that there is One God and One way of salvation through Jesus Christ. We are one body of Christ that goes beyond denomination, ethnicity, social status, geographic location, and background. We strive for unity in the midst of differences to achieve a common goal for Christ.
“Nation”- Reveals our Kingdom origin. It is no longer about me, but I
am a part of something much bigger. I am part of the family of God that stretches across the world. I am called to bear the burdens of others. The Bible reveals that the Jewish people were God’s representatives to the world. They were called a “Kingdom of Priests” and a “Holy Nation.” God took the Jews and the Gentiles who believed and joined them together as one. ONE Heavenly Nation submitting to the leadership of God. ONC MISSION STATEMENT: “MANIFEST A PASSION OF LOVING GOD, AND LOVING PEOPLE”
OUR VISION
ONC strives to be a place where we are committed to Jesus Christ and our Community. We believe that relevant worship, fellowship, and service are vital for spiritual growth. Therefore, we are committed to worshipping God passionately, teaching the Bible practically, and serving our three levels of Community: church, local, and global. DENOMINATION
ONE Nation Church is a non-denominational body of believers, and as such, there are certain essential truths that we believe. As “Christians,” we believe in the necessity of the new birth as the work of God, the Holy Spirit, to be obtained only by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ, and that people are saved by grace through faith, not by works. Christian works are a product of true faith. ONE Nation Church is a New Testament church. It operates autonomously, meaning it operates independently of outside control, not under the authority of organizations or denominations, and is self-governing. It consists of baptized believers who submit to a common “Statement of Faith”. Our desire is to worship God, enjoy fellowship, equip the saints for ministry, exercise the gifts within us, serve others, share the gospel with the world, and win the lost for Christ. Each member is responsible and accountable to God, who is the Head/Leader of the church.
